This case was a labor of love, finished in 2 years. My beautiful patient came to me looking for relief from constant strain on her TMJ and neck muscles due to anterior open bite caused by a chronic improper oral posture, ,leading to her 3rd and 2nd molars extruding and propping her open. She also didn`t like the appearance of her smile because it was narrow, and her upper left lateral implant crown was in an awkward position.

Her treatment included removal of 3rd molars, skeletal expansion with MSE, myofunctional therapy, lingual frenectomy, Invisalign to align the teeth and finish open bite correction, removal of the implant crown and conditioning of gum tissue with a custom provisionals, and finally 3 ceramic crowns with a floating pontic. As a result, she is completely pain-free, able to eat any foods she wants, enjoys better breathing and sleep, and has a beautiful smile that matches her joyful personality.

We started this hike planning to finish the Four Pass loop but took a detour up the Snowmass trail. This was a super challenging hike, ascending to 12,500ft. Sleeping at the summit the first night, our tent was covered in frost. It took us a bit by surprise, just how different the high mountain climate of Colorado is for sea-level dwellers. Still this was a big adventure and we were in awe of the beautiful nature.
